The Knights of Columbus Council 9753 recognizes all the first responders, patients, members, nurses, pharmacists, and doctors doing everything they can to help fight COVID-19. As the coronavirus pandemic continues, our duty is to lead our families, protect our parishes, and serve our communities, remembering always that where there’s a need, there’s a Knight.

As Knights of Columbus, charity is a huge part of our mission.  We need you too! Please consider joining the Knights of Columbus.

Vivat Jesus,

WELCOME TO THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 9753 HOMEPAGE

The Knights of Columbus Council 9753 was founded in 1988 and is a Catholic men's organization that uses stewardship to promote the parish's activity and that of the larger world. The organization raises and distributes funds in support of various church activities. There are regularly scheduled events, most of which take place at the church, throughout the whole year. Folks can help with any events on a volunteer basis without joining the order. Initiation into the order takes place by expressing interest to the ministry contact or any other qualified member.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church was built on a plot of land donated in 1952 by Mr. Sam Allen. The land was donated at the request of Monsignor Paul Conway, Pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Pineville, and was constructed by parishioners under the direction of architect Mr. Harold DeKeyser. Father Patrick Donohoe was the first priest to serve as pastor of the church, which was originally a Mission Church of Sacred Heart Parish.

On March 12, 1971, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mission Church was partitioned from Sacred Heart Parish and established as a new parish with its own pastor. It was named in accordance with the wishes of its principal benefactors, Miss Ester Murray and her sister Miss Daisy Murray of New York City. Father Wilbur Cloutier was appointed the first pastor of the new parish and resided at Maryhill Seminary until the rectory in Allen Hall was built.

Into the Breach Official Trailer

Inspired by the Apostolic Exhortation for Catholic men written by Bishop Olmsted of Phoenix, the Knights of Columbus produced a video series that seeks to answer the question of what it means to be a man and how to live as a man in today's world.
